The proof of the pudding is "What Does The Time Slip Say?" and the time slip for "THUNDER SHIFTER",

from the Miami/Homestead Speedways 1/8th mile drag strip says 7.265 seconds. An earlier, even faster run of 6.89 was lost due to a broken printer. Not to bad for an "origional hot rod", one of the cars that made Hot Rodding in America what it is today.

Bob has had his shop on 6th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale for 42 years. He opened his shop in 1968 because he knew cars, engines and loved them both. Bob's following of loyal customers is no accident, they know that when they go see Bob, it isn't just a case of "changing parts till something works", but rather it is old school mechanical ability that finds the problem and then repairs the malfunction. His customers also know that when the job is done, they will be billed for exactly what needed to be done and nothing else.

But Bob and his Family are also a staple ingredient in what makes racing in the Southeastern United States the success that it is.

A few months ago Bob was honored by being inducted into the

East Coast Drag Racing Hall of Fame

"In Appreciation of His dedication to the sport of Drag Racing"

Bob also has numerous awards and trophies for his participation in SCCA Club Racing and is currently a member of the Florida Region SCCA Board of Directors.
